I decided to couple my Public Relations major with a business minor because I felt the two complimented each other well and each offered skills that were transferable to each field. Everyone can benefit from the skills set that business education can offer because you learn much more than how to start a company, crunch numbers or creating an advertising campaign; you learn how to relate to people.

In the future, I hope to work in marketing and advertising. Both marketing and advertising became a passion for me after I took several courses for my business minor including marketing, marketing research and advertising. Below you will find links to case studies that I have done for various business classes and a project that I did marketing research for while working with Elkhart County in Indiana.

Empowering you, to empower the world- Goshen College Business Department Open House
“Empowering you, to empower the world” is an advertising campaign that was designed for the Goshen College Business Department in an advertising class. It was chosen as the best advertising and integrated brand promotion plan and will be implemented by the Business Department in the following semesters. The plan looks at industry conditions and how to capitalize on what Goshen College has to offer from the Business Department for potential students. This was put together by myself and three other group members.

Below you will find examples of the promotional materials that we created. We made them in both English and Spanish featuring different students to appeal to different target markets.
